In this exhibition, three artists—Niino Karuna, Jin Jiachen, and Song Bowen—together present a distinct structure: landscape gradually detaches from its fixed semantic framework, condensing into a state of scene; scene in turn constructs the body through the viewer’s voluntary withdrawal, while the traces left by bodily gestures render the body itself the starting point of the landscape. Through a quiet retreat—a letting-go—the artists re-approach the unpredictable elements of our lives, performing the very notion of “taking it easy” as a way of seeing the world: a continuous adjustment of focus, a distancing established through withdrawal, a light touch upon the world’s surface to affirm one’s own position. Imagination thus intervenes, allowing us to adjust our postures and embrace new transformations within a renewed reality.
