Artist Biography：

Ryusuke Sano (b. 1994, Hokkaido, Japan)，Ryusuke Sano was fascinated by cartoons, animation, and manga from an early age. In his teens, he encountered the work of Western artists—Egon Schiele, Jackson Pollock, and Jean‑Michel Basquiat became the most influential names during his formative years.After graduating from Tokyo’s Bunka Fashion College, he resolved to become an artist and moved to New York to begin his practice. Influenced by anime, Pop Art, and his cross‑cultural experiences, Sano interprets everyday information and revisits personal memories, developing his signature “ZOOM” concept—a body of mixed‑media works on canvas distinguished by powerful visual impact and artistic tension.Beyond his studio practice, Sano is active in entertainment, fashion collaborations, and advertising. He currently lives and works in Tokyo, Japan.
