Mythra Schwartz 米斯拉·施瓦茨
Artist Biography:
Mythra Schwartz (b. 1996, Canada),Mythra Schwartz is a artist living and working in Melbourne, whose practice explores the fleeting thresholds of perception, memory, and desire. Raised across Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and Bali, her multicultural upbringing has cultivated a heightened sensitivity to transience and displacement.Through recurring visual motifs such as shadows, reflections, and blurred forms, Schwartz’s paintings inhabit a state of partial visibility—where longing coalesces in moments that resist complete grasp. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from RMIT University in 2022 and completed her Honours year at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2024.
